Harry Potter
Just finished reading The Order of the Phoenix. They say if children's literature is any good, adults should enjoy it as well. OK, Tolkien its not. But its a while since I stayed up past my bedtime not wanting to put down a book. 1.20am last night! That's mega late for me. AS Byatt has an article in today's NYT which is critical of adults reading it. I think she had a point in that Rowling is clearly not up to Pratchett or Tolkien standards...but she's still pretty good. Think this deserves more thought.
